It would freak me out to be out on the ocean. What happens if your swept out, no land in sight? Even though it looks awesome, it's not for me to live in.
There would have to be a very deep, very heavy weight underneath this to keep it stable; even so, this would rock like a boat in any wind or wave. The windows and doors on the first level, would need to be made of bullet-proof glass to withstand waves. Even the fence wouldn't stand up to much punishment. Salt water would be disastrous on this. A lake boat at best. I'd expect this would cost a minimum of $500,000 to build. Those curved sliding glass doors would be a fortune all by themselves.

Great idea. The house doesn't look that much lived in though. I hope the inahbitants are not seasick. Could you tell a little about the water? Is it modelled or just something added in photoshop?
